Moab-Arches NP-Canyonlands NP
Seattle-Mt.Baker-Whistler-Vancouver
I'm so glad i got to make this trip. I was originally planning on going then had to back out at the end. After some convincing Jack talked me into it. I finally got to go to Washington and see my brother and his families place and where he works. Seattle is an awesome town. TJ's workplace is right downtown with great views, and neighbors with the old "Real World" Seattle house. After hanging out there we headed to Bellingham for some riding at Mt. Baker. It's a sick ski area with some REAL terrain. One of my favorite ski areas now. After two days riding there we headed toward the border. After a setback and some drama at the border we finally got in. We made the 2hr drive north towards Whistler, passing thru Vancouver and Squamish,British Columbia. We stayed in Whistler and rode three days. Snow was pretty good, but visibility was tough at times. The mountain is huge. I imagine thats what many Euro resorts feel like. I thought our lifts were long. There's never seemed to end. It was fun. There was one set-back however,we lost our buddy Jack to injury. He took a 20-25ft. drop straight on to cat-track,fracturing a vertebrae and costing him his trip. Tough times. So we were forced to make the most out of our remaining three days. Anyways, the place was a blast. We also got to check out Vancouver and do some night skiing at Cypress mtn. And were also able to see the famed "North Shore." Can't wait to come back with the bikes and ride that place.

Cameron Pass,12-02-07
We decided to take a(nother) trip up to the Diamond today. It was hammered pretty good by this last storm. Estimates were around 8-14''. Avalanche danger was also considerably high. After digging a couple of pits with team Thrillhead Creations we decided to stick to the lower angled terrain. Turned out to be a pretty smart decision. Someone got buried by a slide in the Montgomery Pass area(within eye sight of us) while we were there. We ran into all sorts of search and rescue on the way down the canyon. Last i heard, the person had CPR performed on him/her and,i think, was breathing. Scary. Anyways,it was an awesome day with many fat facial, cold facial shots on the S. shoulder of the diamond.
